Advisory Committee Meeting
The Health Administration Program Advisory Committee (HAPAC) met via teleconference on August 28th. The discussion was primarily focused on the role of the committee, how involved they will be and the National Accreditation Board of Long-Term Care Administrators (NAB) accreditation visit at SJC next week. The committee will continue to meet at least quarterly, with relevant information disseminated to them routinely between meetings. It was also announced that we would like to have a hospital administer and home care administrator on the committee if anyone knows of a likely candidate that would be interested. Unfortunately Judy Tarr has had to resign from the committee at this time due to changes in her career. The HAPAC members will also be meeting with the NAB accreditors next week when they are on site.
